Here it is! Our last, um no, Second-to-last Birthday of the Ceuvel. We’ve gained another year and because of it, we’re obviously making it an extra big birthday party! Our Ceuvelaars are once again opening up their boats and coming up with programming for all ages.

Our Café will once again provide you with plenty of different musicians to enjoy this year. From Jam sessions in our Secret Garden, DJs into the wee hours and Live music on our waterfront terrace. With Collignon, Kauw, Ajuma, Sentinel Island Disco and many more..
COLLIGNON
Their new music largely took shape on stage as the band reconnected with their audience after the sobering years of the pandemic. The result: highly energetic and uptempo music, with wild and exotic melodies by Yves, brilliant drumming by Gino (who has a unique technique of playing congas with his left hand and drumming with his right), and Jori’s signature musical landscapes that he creates with his production and sound design. It is impossible not to be absorbed in the energy of a COLLIGNON concert.
KAUW
In a world where dance-floors are ruled by DJ’s, KAUW is looking for a refreshing, Electronic, yet danceable sound, all performed live. With influences drawn from all over the musical spectrum and beats that go round the clock, KAUW is sure to give you an eclectic live set packaging House, Techno, Electro and all sorts of experimental in-betweens. KAUW is a duo existing of Boye Ingwersen (Keys, Synths, Bass and Ableton) and Dali Hermes (Live Drums). Expect to be taken on a wild journey trough the landscape of fat analog, swinging beats and to to be submerged in the possibilities of dreamy, dark and moving sounds.

Exhibition: ‘Everything is temporary’. Students from the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture exhibit nine different designs. Each proposal gives a unique view of the possibilities if you let your imagination run wild. As a visitor, you interact with the students, a model and your own expectations.

Festive opening of the photo Exhibition ‘diversity in the light of the old Masters’ on our scaffolding. And you can have your own fine-art portrait made entirely in style.

At the creërende heren you can not only pimp your sneakers and clothes, you can also join one of the graffiti workshops. Not ready to roll up your sleeves yourself? Then you can always purchase a piece of graffiti art by artist Teizer!
THE POLLINATORS
Since 2016, we have been committed to the welfare of pollinating insects.
This is sadly badly needed, because in our landscape, pollinators such as
wild bees, bumblebees and butterflies are suffering. It is precisely these small insects
are so important for healthy ecosystems. They ensure that
flowers, plants, trees can survive and that we enjoy
delicious food.
Flower bombs are handy spreaders of flower seeds. You throw them
easily in places that could use some brightening up. Because the
more flowers in the landscape, the more wild bees. You happy and the bee
happy.
With the flower bombs, we help pollinating insects get their much-needed
strength food. Much needed, because in our landscape pollinators such as
bees, butterflies and hoverflies have a hard time.
In this workshop we will make flower bombs together, will you join us?
