At the Ceuvel, we organize private tours for interested individuals, schools, companies, and others. Whether you’re an architect, technical engineer, student, or generally interested in sustainability, there’s someone at the Ceuvel who can tell our story in a way that resonates with you. The Ceuvel is a self-built incubator where sustainability and the circular economy take center stage. It’s an urban design experiment in urban renewal, a creative and cultural hub, a circular test lab, and a place to relax and be inspired. There’s a smart grid of solar panels that can exchange power using blockchain technology, an aquaponics greenhouse, 16 boats converted into creative workspaces on dry land, and a cozy caf\u00e9-restaurant that’s consistently hailed as “the most sustainable restaurant in Europe.” The heavily contaminated soil on which everything is built is currently being cleaned using a special mix of purifying plants that absorb the heavy metals and oils from the old shipyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer two versions of this tour: the INTRO Ceuvel tour and the SPECIAL tour. If you book a special tour, you’ll receive a tour with an expert in your area of interest at the Ceuvel:<\/em> green space\/sustainability, urban design\/architecture, or community\/art.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ceuvel Tours are organized by Association de Ceuvel. The fantastic and sustainable cafe-restaurant Cafe de Ceuvel is also located on our site. Their story is also part of the tour.  If you would like to have drinks, lunch, dinner or snacks with them before or afterwards, please let them know in advance by making a direct reservation with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
