Hoodies for the Homeless is a non-profit organization started in New York City in 2015 by the band PushMethod that uses music, fashion, and art to bring awareness to the issue of homelessness, and inspire community participation through the collection of hoodies at their live music events.  Since starting in 2015 they’ve organized events throughout the US and Europe and are now spreading their concept all over the world, truly turning music into action.

On the 27th of October, we’re organizing Amsterdam’s first Hoodies for the Homeless event here at de Ceuvel in our new venue  The Gallery, working together with Het Muziekcollectief, who’re providing a great line-up and a great party! 

Please bring new or lightly used hoodies to donate – all clothes will go directly to the Dutch Salvation Army after the show to distribute among Amsterdam’s homeless. You can also bring your hoodies and sweaters to Café de Ceuvel in the week leading up to the event.

We will be bringing you 3 amazing live music acts in the gallery, and then organize an afterparty in the Cafe with Het Muziekcollectief’s resident DJ WHTVR [wrks], bringing hip hop & RnB party tunes
