At Café de Ceuvel, we welcome Mitch Julius, the 27-year-old Dutch self-taught guitarist and singer whose life experiences have led him to create music that not only reflects his unique perspective but also resonates with listeners worldwide.

Mitch Julius (Michiel Julius René Hagemeijer) is a Dutch musician who draws inspiration from his intrinsic connection to nature and iconic artists who have used their music to inspire change, think Jimi Hendrix, Gil-Scott Heron and D’Angelo.

He is a self-taught guitarist and singer whose eclectic tastes span genres such as jazz, blues, soul and hip-hop.
With his thought-provoking lyrics and soulful melodies, he creates a musical journey that transports listeners to a place of reflection and inspiration.

He released his first EP “Water is Good” in 2020, his EP “0101” with II in 2023, and his debut album “Coming of Age” in 2024.
