Foraging and cooking together, in the darkest time of the year!
Have you always wanted to know which plants, leaves and seeds you can still eat in winter? And how to prepare them? Then join us now and discover what can be found in winter.
During the expedition we will see how many edible plants you will encounter, learn how to recognize them, which ones are edible and whether it is responsible to pick the plant. Of course, we will harvest some plants and take them with us.
Back at the Ceuvel, this harvest will be washed, cut and sorted. Then we will do some culinary work, including of course cooking on a fire during the winter month. Together we will put together a special menu, depending on what the park has to offer at that time. To conclude, there will be a tasty tasting.

Anke Wijnja connects people with themselves and with nature with her company The Nature Connection. She keeps office at the Ceuvel, where she is, among other things, manager of the Purification Park. Anke has a vast knowledge of nature and everything that grows and blooms, and conveys this with great enthusiasm. In addition to the Wildpluk expeditions, she is a nature coach and teaches outdoor mindfulness.
