In former seacontainers on an old industrial zone Wouter Hassing of Mycophilia grows our delicious shiitake, bolet royal and oyster mushrooms on wood splinters. The growing itself is also done sustainably using a biomeiler: a heap of shredded wood that generates warmth by decomposing.

Our bitterballs and croquettes are vegetarian and have a special story. Willem Bosman Jansen of GRO produces bitterballs en croquettes made from oyster mushrooms, which they’ve grown on the coffee grounds of chain-store La Place and wholesaler DeliXL. Their snack assortment is called Terra Bites and is really delicious.
