Did you know your organic waste gets a second life? On National Compost Day, the Municipality of Amsterdam gives away free compost – and De Ceuvel is one of the distribution points. This is your chance to give your garden or balcony a natural boost with nutrient-rich compost.
Why compost?
Compost is pure nourishment for the soil. It improves structure, retains water, and helps plants grow strong and healthy. Good for your garden, good for the city.
How does it work?
Come to De Ceuvel on March 29 between 9:00 and 15:00. Bring your own bag, bucket, or container. A large bin with a thousand liters of compost will be waiting for you in the square, ready to be scooped up. A shovel will be available.
