Since fall 2024, a Storytelling evening has been taking place regularly: The Evening of Boundlessness. The program is a celebration and a way to come together in a relaxed atmosphere revolving around solidarity, connection and sharing personal stories.
The Birthday
In mid-June, our annual festival the Ceuvel “Birthday” takes place. The entire grounds and all the spaces are then transformed with different music stages, workshops, exhibitions, substantive panel discussions and presentations for young and old! Last year we had a special anniversary edition of 10 years de Ceuvel.
The festival is attended by nearly 1000 people and the daylong program will take place on and among the 12 houseboats, the cafe and change tent, the square and other spaces.

People’s Cuisine + In-depth stories
Café de Ceuvel is organizing a series of evenings on the theme of food. We offer a hot meal followed by an in-depth program. Eating together has been one of the most essential forms of connection between people since time immemorial, something that is even more important today.
In this series you will discover, through the eyes of experts, more about the ecological, social and financial challenges of the food system. You'll also get information and practical tips on what you can do yourself. Above all, don't feel obliged to stay for the program if you only want to join us for the meal.
Why are we organizing this? As a sustainable incubator, we feel it is important to make our programs as accessible as possible to every target group and budget. This is one of the main principles in shaping our activities in the coming period.

Sustainable Christmas Market
Around Christmas we will organize a sustainable Christmas market at the Ceuvel. Spread over two weekends, more than 30 sustainable entrepreneurs will get a chance to sell their products.
The Christmas market is much visited because of the authentic and cozy character of our breeding place, together with fires, lovely people and nice stalls you will experience a Christmas market as it is meant to be!
King Ceuvel
Elk jaar eind April organiseert het café Koning Ceuvel. De avond wordt bezocht door ongeveer 500 mensen, met leuke bands op vier podia, o.a. in het Cafe, op de Veranda en in de Secret Garden. Soms vinden er ook nog kleine pop up feestjes op de woonboten plaats die ontdekt kunnen worden.
