World Disco Soup Day 2018: the pop-up disco party where you dance & fight food waste, by eating it!
From Uganda to Japan, Brazil to the Netherlands, the global Slow Food Youth Network will join forces on the 28th April 2018 to organize the second World Disco Soup Day. The Disco Soup is an action to fight against food waste in which volunteers are invited to chop and cook leftover foods while dancing to some crazy disco beats!
SFYN Amsterdam is putting together an awesome program around the theme ‘Food Waste at Home’. Together we will create delicious soups with veggies that otherwise would have ended up in the bin. There will be a mini-market with our local food waste heroes and even some food prepping, conserving and fermenting workshops for you, as well as the documentary Just Eat It – A Food Waste Story!
Join us and let’s fill our bellies instead of our bins!
Interested? Attend the event, invite your friends and we will keep you updated on the program! We’re also looking for volunteers! Shoot us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
