Rainwater collected from Metabolic Lab is being stored as a source for the VillagePump 500.
This technology can yield at least 500 litres of fully purified, cool drinking water per hour. The VillagePump employs a multi-stage filtering process that reduce diseases by removing waterborne pathogens. The units can operate using all forms of surface water, including ponds, lakes and streams. Visitors can interact with the model VillagePump at De Ceuvel, located next to Metabolic Lab.
