About Amsterdam Crochet & Knit Club
The Amsterdam Crochet and Knit Club is a place for people to come together through a shared love of crafting. Each month, we host a relaxed gathering , where you can crochet, knit, or work on other textile projects. There’s no set program, just bring your project and join in.
Whether you’ve been crafting for years or are just getting started, everyone is welcome. The meetups are a low-key opportunity to work alongside others, share experiences, or simply enjoy crafting quietly in good company.
Crocheting and knitting are forms of slow fashion – the sustainable alternative to fast fashion, focused on care, quality, and reuse. By making your own garments and accessories, you contribute to a more conscious and sustainable approach to fashion.
Practical:
The gatherings take place on one of the studio boats at De Ceuvel, a creative and sustainable space in Amsterdam. There’s no bar or café inside the studio, but you’re welcome to grab a drink at the café on De Ceuvel or bring your own.
